Seal foil with hologram for hot & cold transfer

Individual hologram foils and hologram sealing foils are ideal for permanently protecting various substrates against counterfeiting.

Depending on the type of application,the hologram foil is transferred to the substrate in a special process and cannot be removed afterwards. The hologram foil is permanently bonded to the product. This application method is used for large runs and purely by machine.

COLD TRANSFER FOIL WITH HOLOGRAM

Cold transfer film with hologram is similar in structure to the well-known hologram heat-sealing films, but here the holographic layer is transferred to the substrate cold in a special UV-supported process. By using different UV-curing varnishes and special additives, the properties of the finished security label with hologram can be determined and defined for different applications. Cold transfer film with hologram can be transferred very precisely in-line to specific areas in the printing process and no die-cutting is required. This means that holographic effects can be integrated into fast-running UV printing presses without much extra effort.

Hot seal foil with hologram

In the case of heat-sealing foil with hologram, the holographically embossed layer is supplied with various other coatings and a thermally reactive adhesive layer on a polyester carrier. The hologram foil is permanently bonded to the substrate to be coated using heatable pressure rollers or stamps. The polyester carrier is then removed again. Heat-sealing foils with holograms cannot be removed without destroying the layers and are therefore very popular for securing paper documents. For example, on banknotes, tickets, admission tickets, etc.

CHROMIUM BASED TRANSFER FOIL (CBH - CHROMIUM BASED HOLOGRAM)

Chrome Based Hologramtransfer foils have a high resistance to external influences and are therefore designed for special applications in heavy-duty environments. Due to the unique manufacturing process, CBH (Chrome Based Holograms) are resistant and tamper-proof and are often used in high security license plates due to their durability and longevity under outdoor conditions.

TRANSPARENT TRANSFER FILM (HRI - HIGH REFRACTIVE INDEX)

Transparent transfer film, also known as HRI Stamping Foils (High Refractive Index) are a material that can be used in transparent high security holograms. HRI foils are metallized with zinc sulfide instead of aluminum, which gives the foil a transparent appearance. This material is diffusion free and has a higher consistency of holographic effects compared to other holograms, ideal for applications in pharmaceutical packaging, bank documents, ID cards and academic certificates.
