Paper hologram stickers are ideal for packaging where plastic is completely dispensed with in order to meet sustainability requirements. The metallized layer of the hologram is only a few microns thick and can usually be neglected in the life cycle assessment of a product.

The paper tears very easily and the hologram sticker can be ideally used as a seal closure.

Breakable Vinyl hologram stickers cannot be completely removed from the substrate. The vinyl can only be broken off the substrate piece by piece. Reuse of the hologram sticker is impossible.

The application is for closures where the seal is broken by the opening mechanism, as in the case of twist-off closures.
