SMART LABELING / SERIALIZATION OF HOLOGRAM LABELS

Each hologram label can be individually equipped with a serial number and/or a QR code for identification and traceability. QR codes enable the end customer End customer to use his smartphone to check the information stored by the manufacturer in an online database.

This can be, for example, a product description, proof of originality, a batch number or a manufacturing date. Especially for shelf-life-critical medications, it is highly recommended to work with anauthentication by a hologram label to give the patient or the attending physician confidence in the safety of the product and the application .

SECURITY PIGMENTS & SPECIAL PRINTING IN HOLOGRAM LABELS

Special security pigments and various special prints in the security label with hologram are used as an additional security feature to protect printed documents, stickers or packaging. Depending on the application, environment requirement and required security level of anti-counterfeit hologram stickers, different types of security inks & printing technologies are used for this purpose.

UV OVERPRINT IN HOLOGRAM LABEL

UP-CONVERTING / ANTI-STOKES PIGMENTS IN THE HOLOGRAM

• Anti-Stokes pigments can be converted into visible (VIS) light by laser light in the NIR (Near Infrared) range.
• The luminescent pigments have sizes in the micron and submicron range for use in standard offset printing.
• The invisible pigments can be read by a beeper or made visible by a NIR laser

COMBINATION PRINTING / HOLOGRAM & REGISTERED PRINTING / CAST&CURE

By combining a counterfeit-proof hologram Hologram with an overprint executed in register, a visually very appealing design can be created, which not only provides the holographic security levels for brand protection, but at the same time enables high-resolution printing in standard colors.

Conversely, using the Cast&Cure process, a holographic element can also be printed onto a packaging label or security label. In this case, the holographic relief structure can be transferred from a master film to a predetermined area of the label with a precise fit by casting the hologram in a special coating.

CLEAR LABELS WITH HOLOGRAM / LOOK THROUGH LABEL

The combinations of transparent hologram and semi-transparent printing for clear labels with hologram, offer the brand designer the possibility to create a relatively unobtrusive label for a product, which allows the viewer to see the content and still combines a high quality cachet with a tamper-proof hologram.

ANTI-COUNTERFEIT PEEL-OFF LABELS / MULTILAYER LABELS WITH HOLOGRAMS

For some products, a multi-layer label is needed to accommodate the information that is important to the consumer. In order to maintain the visual effect of product identity and still be able to present extensive content to the customer, the usually double-layer peel-off labels are the right choice. With our holographic seals and security features in the hologram, the peel-off label or multilayer label is additionally equipped with counterfeit protection and offers protection against product piracy and tampering.

VOID - LABEL (WITHOUT HOLOGRAM)

VOID labels without hologram are suitable to seal simple outer packaging quickly against unauthorized opening, for example to additionally secure transport & logistics routes and, in contrast to the hologram sticker, to have a very inconspicuous visual effect. If desired,an additional optical enhancement can be achieved with the holographic rainbow effect.
