Depending on the application, environmental requirements and required security level of the anti-counterfeiting security labels with hologram, different types of security inks & printing technologies are used for this purpose.
We offer specialty inks and security pigments for all applications that ensure highly effective protection against counterfeiting and product piracy and recommend both covert and overt printing solutions for packaging, hologram labels or holographic seals and stickers to protect brands and consumers from counterfeit products.
Security labels with holograms and security printing with reactive pigments are used to protect against product piracy and counterfeiting.
The label consists of a non-changeable area, in which we have placed the following security features, and a changeable area to make the label flexible.
For the non-changeable area, we use flexographic printing technology in combination with the holographic elements in the label, which we can transfer to the label in a register-controlled heat-sealing process, precisely with an individual hologram design.
The changeable area is made possible by digital printing and thermal printing. Here, each label can be individually equipped with information and offers maximum flexibility for later use.

The thermochromic effect can be used as a reversible effect for safety-related tests. A check can be carried out with a simple, conventional lighter.
The Reversible Thermochromic Effect reacts at a temperature of approx. 60°C and changes from red to transparent. When the label cools down, the area turns red again.
THERMOREACTIVE PIGMENTS
This invisible UV ink is transparent in daylight and only becomes visible when exposed to a UV lamp. The UV yellow enables a label to be checked quickly.
The UV ink is most clearly visible with a UV lamp at a wavelength of 365nm. The ink is invisible in daylight.
INVISIBLE UV-INK
The Coin Reactive Ink istransparent when not activated and only becomes visible when rubbed with a metallic object, e.g. a coin. A simple rubbing is sufficient.
This ink can be placed in an inconspicuous place and used for a simple check or for a product control point.
COIN REACTIVE INK
The Motion Raster is based on the same technology as the Encrypted Pattern, but uses a different screen and print image. Whereas with the Encrypted Pattern the raster film has to be applied very precisely, the Motion Raster is designed as a running pattern and the film can be applied as required. A motion effect is created when the film is moved up and down.
The aperture lines on the film make the letters OK visible. The motion raster effect is visually very interesting and a quick tool for checking a security label.
MOTION RASTER
The Encrypted Pattern is a special printing method in which alternating lines are arranged in such a way that they reveal a pattern or words when overlaid with a special screen film. The label can be checked quickly and easily using an efficient and cost-effective tool.
The technology becomes visible under a microscope. By shielding individual lines with the screen film, the letters are visually emphasized and separated from the turbulent background.
ENCRYPTED PATTERN
The scratch coating over fixed QR code is made with a special scratch-off ink that makes it possible to place hidden information behind a scratch-off field. The QR code can refer to a website or contain information about the product that should not be immediately visible. This QR code can then be printed as a fixed QR code.
The QR code can even serve as an additional security feature and can be printed in up to four colors using the technology we use.
SCRATCH COATING OVER FIXED QR-CODE
By using forgery-proof hologram stickers with a combination print executed in register, a visually very appealing and extraordinary product design can becreated.
This registered printing process not only offers the high security standards of our counterfeit-proof hologram labels against product piracy, but at the same time enables high-resolution printing in standard colors. This opens up many new possibilities for the design of a high-quality label.
In the Cast&Cure process, a holographic element can be printed on a packaging label or a security label. In this process, the holographic relief structure is transferred from a master film to a predetermined area of the label with a precise fit by molding the hologram into a special coating.
Product labels with Fresnel lens are unique, offer a visual highlight at the point of sale and fascinate customers with an incredible effect.
Fresnel lens labels are produced using one of our high resolution printing technologies.
These special lenses provide a very unusual and therefore highly eye-catching effect on a label or tag. The convex mirror lens reflects the light and surrounding objects in a 3D effect, which in its uniqueness gives a noble and high quality impression. This special print in the label area is ideally suited to highlight a product at the point of sale (POS) and to fascinate customers with the eye-catching effect of the Fresnel lens and to trigger an incentive to buy.
In combination printing, effects such as Fresnel lenses or the relief effect can be used for fascinating product designs.
The holographic layer is where the effects are created that later give the product design its special look. Fresnel lenses and relief effects can be used to design raised structures that stand out visually to such an extent that a realistic image is created and the viewer has the feeling of being able to touch the structures. Since these are holographic structures in the nano range, which are smaller than 1 micron, the label is smooth and the 3D effect is purely optical.

The 3D labels with the natural realistic print are produced in a special process, where an embossing master is made, which optically holographically reproduces the natural structures of surfaces and creates a haptic impression.
